Common Language

Home Campus - where you are earning your degree and paying tuition.
Host Campus - where you want to take the Tri-College class.
Partner Campus - Tri-College is a partnership. Concordia College, M State, MSUM, NDSU, and NDSCS are the partner campuses.
Open Enrollment - the date Tri-College students begin registering at a host campus. Go to the Tri-College Comined Academic Calendar
Tri-College Class - a class taken at a partner campuses using the Tri-College Course Exchange Agreement

 

5 Basics of the Process for a Minor

  1. SAME BASICS of the Tri-College Course Exchange process apply to getting a minor.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: You can apply to get a minor at Concordia, MSUM, or NDSU if that minor is not available at your home campus. 
  3. APPLY: Complete a PDF form to request approval from the host and home campuses. 
  4. REGISTER: Each semester you take a minor class, complete the Tri-College Registration form/process. Refer to Register for a Tri-College Class - Step 4 for additional explanations and instructions.
  5. FOLLOW the approved minor curriculum provided at the time you are accepted.
