NDSCS President John Richman elected Tri-College University Board Chair

Dr. John Richman has been elected to serve at the board chairman of Tri-College University. The partnership is comprised of Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State University, Minnesota State Community and Technical College and North Dakota State College of Science. The partnership has a combined 35,000 full and part-time students who can participate in many Tri-College shared programs.

This past year Tri-College celebrated their 50th Anniversary and the board is comprised of the five campus Presidents and four community board members. Programs include the popular course exchange program which to date has saved students and their families more than $270 million. Tri-College also shares library resources across their 2.2 million holdings and partners on student recruitment and professional development.

“President Richman was a leader in efforts to bring the advantages of the Tri-College to students and faculty from NDSCS and M State when they were added to the partnership five years ago” according to TCU Provost Tim Flakoll. “Richman has a strong history of working with others to form partnerships that benefit students and the workforce and he will be a great asset in his new role as chairman.”
