1. Adding a class after the HOST campus deadline: you may need to get instructor permission to add the class if the host campus "last day to add a class" deadline has passed. 

• Why? Each instructor determines if a late student can successfully catch up in the class based on what has already been covered. This includes the feasibility of recreating labs, simulations, etc.
• A high number of students that add late end up dropping the class once they realize how much content has already been covered. 

2. Adding a class after the HOME campus Financial Aid distrubution: financial aid distribution is a hard deadline and varies at each campus.

• Basically, your home campus sets a deadline when all financial aid is processed and your semester tuition bill is finalized.
• Your financial aid package may be negatively impacted if you are registered for too few or too many credits at this deadline.
• The home campus registrar's office cannot speed up registration, so register early and submit all the correct forms and attachments.
