Applicants who are interested in politics, leadership, public service, or community service, and have a desire to develop their own leadership skills are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age or older.

You DO NOT need to be a college student, political science major, or be involved in formal political roles such as student government to be considered. Even if you do not consider yourself a leader or activist but want to help your community, you should apply.

Note: Each year approximately 50 community and college women are invited to participate typically coming from within the tri-state region of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
