Cooperation Agreement

   1. The Libraries at CC, MSUM and NDSU will make their holdings of available library materials at each campus accessible via their online library catalogs.

   2. Faculty, staff, or students from any of the three partnering institutions have privileges at all three campus libraries.

   3.  Faculty, staff and students may request materials from a participating library, to be delivered to the home campus library of the person making the request, at no charge to the individual.

   4. Through December 2009, faculty from each of the partner institutions are the only ones allowed to check out materials from the TCU Film Library. After this time, materials will be divided between the three libraries and the TCU Film Library is dissolved.

Library Cooperation

• Students are free to visit any of the three libraries (bring along a student I.D./library card) or to request that materials from another library be delivered to their home campus library by a twice-daily shuttle service.

• A computerized database gives library patrons access to information about the collections at all three Tri-College libraries, in addition to automated library services involving more than 100 libraries in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

• This cooperatation provides a library resource of more than 1.25 million books and over 5,000 journals with titles representing all academic disciplines.

• If the book or periodical you need is not available locally, librarians can help you obtain it through an interlibrary loan.  Easy-to-use instructions on how to use the computer terminals are available at each library.

Each institution has its own schedule for library hours.  If you are planning to study or do research at any of the three libraries, please be advised of the following schedules.  Also, check the campus web sites to be aware of any holidays or recesses that may affect library hours.
